Library Mission Statement

The mission of the JPSD Library Media Program is to build a literacy foundation that will enable and empower its students to transition into life-long learners. Students have an opportunity to be part of a vast world through books, learning experiences, resources from all points of view with the district’s curriculum goals, objectives, and values.

As a librarian, my responsibility is to use print and non-print media to meet the informational needs of the students, teachers, staff, administrators, and other members of the school community.
