Tanyatemeika Mason
Mrs. Mason is a highly-motivated educational professional with diverse experience as a leader, educator, coordinator, and educational director. She has spent the last 20 years of her career as a school administrator. Her areas of responsibility included managing the development of instructional and co-curricular programs, developing effective discipline procedures, establishing relationships with educational leaders, engaging parents and the community to support school improvement efforts and recruiting, hiring and developing high-quality personnel. Mrs. Mason started her career in Canton Public Schools as a Biology teacher.
Mrs. Mason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Mississippi University for Women. She obtained a Master of Education in Biology degree at Mississippi College and a Master of Science in Education Administration and Supervision degree at Jackson State University. Mrs. Mason completed her most recent degree, a Master of Business Administration–Leadership Concentration, at Belhaven University.
